Counseling
Ms. Amanda graduated from Virginia City High School in 2000. After graduation, Ms. Amanda attended UNR and studied abroad in Spain and Costa Rica. She graduated from UNR in 2005 with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. She later got her Masters Degree of Science in Counseling at the University of Phoenix. Ms. Amanda worked at an elementary school in Reno, NV for a little over 8 years as a school counselor. We are lucky to have her as our school counselor at VCHS!
Ms. Amanda is a proud mama of two boys and is newly married.

Information on Jump Start & Dual Credit
Dual credit is a program that allows high school students to earn both college and high school credits simultaneously.
